Vasy Petros
Vasy Petros
is a past committee member of the Greek
Australian Cultural League and co-ordinator
for the GACL's Antipodean Palette Art
Exhibitions for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019
and 2020. She is also a member of the Bass
Coast Artists Society and manages a part
time art and design business. Her works have
been awarded and highly commended and have
been exhibited and sold at the Gippsland
regional galleries- MAG, Art Space
Wonthaggi, and Thirsty Works. A recent
work titled 'Nature of the Beast' was
accepted for the cover of the next Women's
Art Register Bulletin special Covid-19 July
2020 issue.
Vasy has been a
qualified health professional and trained
volunteer with The Australian Red Cross
Emergency, Migrant Support Service, and The
Royal Children's Hospital Education
Institute, she currently works with children
in the education disability support sector,
teaches art and occasionally offers her
assistance to the GACL as a co-opted
committee member.
