From Prastio Morphou, CyprusLiving in Perth Western Australia since 1981

Born in Cyprus to Michael and Gwenda Economou

Studies: Greek Grammar school of Morphou Drafting and Design

Left Cyprus as a refugee in 1974 and went to England where she married in 1976.

She moved to Australia with her husband and young son in 1981 and settled in Perth WA where she also had a daughter in 1984.

Career and Activities:

Architectural and Engineering Drafting in Cyprus, England and Perth WA

Interpreting – Perth

Greek Teaching at Greek School and Tafe Collage

Producer / Presenter of the Cypriot Radio Programme of WA for 21 years

Creator and publisher of the Poetry Books “Anemones” – For the Cypriot Radio and the Greek community.

In her spare time she writes poetry, short stories and publishes a variety of books for herself and family.
