Ο ΠΟΙΗΤΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΖΩΓΡΑΦΟΣ

 

 Nikos was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1934. His artistic talent was fostered while attending the French College of St. Mark. In 1960 he moved to Athens and in 1964 he migrated to Melbourne. He has been awarded numerous prizes:

1968 - for his outstanding black and white art work by the Arf Union of Victoria

1986 - first prize in poetry for The Year of Peace

1987 - for h is extensive work in the Greek letters and

commitment to The Sfinga publication by E.E.A.M.A. 1996 - for his art and poetry contribution awarded by the

Society a/Greek Studies 1999 - for his letters and art contribution bv the World Council for Hellenes Abroad (S.A.E.)

Nikos has published and circulated seven poetic works from 1983-1998:

 Ο ΠΟΙΗΤΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΖΩΓΡΑΦΟΣ

Ο Νίκος Α. Νομικός γεννήθηκε στην Αλεξάνδρεια της Αιγύπτου το 1934, από γονείς νησιώτες. Στο Γαλλικό Γυμνάσιο του Αγίου Μάρκου ανέπτυξε το φυσικό του ταλέντο της ζωγραφικής, μαθητεύοντας κοντά στον Αλεξανδρινό ζωγράφο Γιώργο Γώγο και τον καθηγητή Καλών Τεχνών Ιε&η Κ,ουνίει". Είναι πτυχιούχος Σχεδιαστής Μηχανικός της Τεχνικής Σχολής Αλεξάνδρειας.

Το 1960 εγκαταστάθηκε στην Αθήνα και το 1963 απεφοίτησε ως Μηχανολόγος Υπομηχανικός από τη Δημόσια Τεχνική Σχολή Αθηνών. Το 1965 μετανάστευσε στην Μελβούρνη, όπου διαμένει οικο-γενειακώς.

Βραβεύτηκε για το ζωγραφικό και ποιητικό του έργο και για. την πνευματική του προσφορά στα ελληνικά γράμματα.

Άρχισε να δημοσιεύει τα ποιήματα του στο: περιοδικά 'Σφιγγα'και Αντίποδες' της Μελβούρνης και αργότερα στον 'Κώδικα', θεσσαλονίκη και στην Aκτή', Λευκωσία.
